As if we needed more proof that this is Olivia Rodrigo's year, enter the 2022 Grammy Award nominations.

Following the release of her debut album, Sour, earlier this year, the 18-year-old breakout star received seven nods, including the “big four” top categories: Best New Artist and Album, Song, and Record of the year. (Producer and songwriter Finneas is also in the running for the top four trophies.) Take a look at her full list of nominations below:

  • Best New Artist
  • Album of the Year — Sour
  • Record of the Year — “Drivers License”
  • Song of the Year — “Drivers License”
  • Best Pop Solo Performance — “Drivers License”
  • Best Pop Vocal Album — Sour
  • Best Music Video — “Good 4 U”

The singer has not yet publicly responded to the news, but apparently she's making a bit of history too. Per Variety, Rodrigo is the first Filipina and second-youngest artist to be nominated in all of the top four Grammy categories. Still, she's facing some tough competition. Other contenders in the general field include Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, H.E.R., Silk Sonic, and Kanye West, who've also all welcomed big releases over the past year.

The nominations for “Drivers License” also come as no surprise, after Rodrigo riled up fans and racked up critical acclaim for the teen heartbreak anthem, which she dropped at the top of the year.

“It’s truly any songwriter’s dream,” she told ELLE in April about the reactions to the song. She also appreciated that listeners acknowledged how open she was in her songwriting. “There’s something so powerful in being vulnerable and open, like, ‘This is my life, and I’m fucking sad.’ Or, ‘I’m insecure,’ ” she added. “That’s what makes songwriting so special.”

The 2022 Grammy Awards take place on Monday, Jan. 31, airing on CBS.
