Ohio-based Gregory Industries, which makes highway safety and other roll form steel products, will spend $30 million to build a 325,000-square-foot plant in Athens.  The new development in Elm Industrial Park will create 100 manufacturing, maintenance and supervision jobs. – News 19

 

Alabama-built Hyundai SUV will be movie star

An Alabama-built Hyundai SUV will be featured in “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” coming to theaters in December. The Hyundai Tucson, built at the Hyundai plant in Montgomery, will make its film debut in the movie, which stars Tom Holland as the title character. – Alabama NewsCenter

Aerospace, Aviation school signs charter contract

The Alabama Aerospace and Aviation High School has signed its charter contract with the Alabama Public Charter School Commission. The school can now go forward with its plan to open in August 2022. – Yellowhammer News
