Peacock debuted a trailer for “Bel-Air,” the upcoming drama series that reimagines the ‘90s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” “Bel-Air” is set to premiere in 2022.
Based on Morgan Cooper’s viral fan film of the same name, “Bel-Air” stars Jabari Banks as Will, the role played by Will Smith in the original sitcom. The series follows Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones and Simone Joy Jones also star.
In the teaser, Smith gives a dramatic reading of the theme song from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” in voiceover as Banks’ Will is shown underwater, surrounded by motifs from the original show: basketballs, fuzzy dice, a crown, etc.
Executive producers include showrunners T.J. Brady and Rasheed Newson, director and co-writer Morgan Cooper, Smith, Terence Carter, James Lassiter, Miguel Melendez, Malcolm Spellman, Quincy Jones, Benny Medina, and Andy and Susan Borowitz. VH1 announced that a special presentation of “Queens of the Universe” will air on Nov. 23 at 8:05 p.m. following the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 14 “RuVeal” casting announcement before the series moves to Paramount Plus. Graham Norton hosts the singing competition series, which sees 14 drag queens perform for judges Vanessa Williams, Michelle Visage, Trixie Mattel and Leona Lewis in hopes of winning the $250,000 top prize. RuPaul executive produces.
Showtime announced that “Super Pumped: The Battle For Uber,” will premiere on Feb. 27 at 10 p.m. As the first installment of “Super Pumped,” a new anthology series about major moments in the business world, this season will star Jason Gordon-Levitt as Uber CEO Travis Kalnick and follow the highs and lows of Silicon Valley life through the company’s beginnings. Kyle Chandler, Uma Thurman, Elisabeth Shue, Kerry Bishé, Jon Bass, Bridget Gao Hollitt and Babak Tafti also also star in the season, which is based on Mike Isaac’s book of the same name. Showrunners Brian Koppelman, David Levien and Beth Schacter executive produce alongside Paul Schiff, Stephen Schiff and Allyce Ozarski. Isaac co-executive produces. Allen Coulter directs and executive produces the first episode.
Food Network announced that a new season of “Worst Cooks in America” will premiere on Discovery Plus on Dec. 29 and then air linearly on Food Network beginning Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. In this season, host Anne Burrell is joined by chef Cliff Crooks as they lead twelve competitors trying to become better cooks. The series is produced by Objective Media Group America and All3 Media America.

Variety has exclusively obtained a clip from the third and final season of Amazon Prime Video’s “Hanna,” which premieres on Nov. 24. The series follows Hanna, (Esmé Creed-Miles) a woman created and trained to be an assassin by an organization called Utrax, who then tried to destroy Utrax from the inside with the help of her previous nemesis, former CIA agent Marissa Wiegler (Mireille Enos). In Season 3, after Hanna and Marissa have coerced Utrax agent John Carmichael (Dermot Mulroney) to help them, fellow young assassins Sandy (Áine Rose Daly) and Jules (Gianna Kiehl) and other foes begin to suspect Hanna’s plot. Ray Liotta also joins the season as Gordon Evans, a respected veteran and intelligence operative with insider power. “Hanna” is written by David Farr. The series is produced by NBCUniversal International Studios, Working Title Television and Amazon Studios. VH1 debuted a teaser for “The Bitch Who Stole Christmas,” which premieres on Nov. 23 at 9 p.m. The holiday film follows a fashion journalist from a big city who is sent to a Christmas-obsessed small town for a story when she finds herself among cutthroat housewives, a high stakes Winter Ball drag competition and a sinister plot to destroy Christmas. Chef Anne Burrell, host and mentor of Food Network’s “Worst Cooks in America,” has signed an exclusive multi-year deal including at least two more cycles of the show. Burrell has hosted the show, in which she and another chef mentor teams of unskilled cooks through a boot camp and competition, since its debut in 2010.
