The Blackhawks wrap up a four-game road trip on Tuesday night, facing the Calgary Flames for the first time this season.
Fresh off a 1-0 win in Vancouver on Sunday night, Chicago has won five of their last six games, but faces a stiff test in the Western Conference-leading Flames, who have points in six straight contests (4-0-2).

VS. CALGARY

The Blackhawks are in Calgary for the first time since Feb. 15, 2020 when they beat the Flames 8-4. The eight goals scored by the Blackhawks were the most by Chicago since Feb. 18, 2019 (8-7 win vs. Ottawa) and marked the 112th game in team history Chicago scored eight or more goals. Jonathan Toews (1G, 2A) and Patrick Kane (1G, 2A) paced the Blackhawks with three points each in the win while thirteen Blackhawks players recorded a point in the game, including five players with two or more points.
The Blackhawks have recorded a point in 11 of their last 12 games at the Saddledome dating back to Feb. 2, 2013. Alex DeBrincat has a point (4G, 3A) in six of his last seven games against the Flames. Kane has a point (4G, 6A) in four straight contests vs. Calgary, including one four-point game (Dec. 31, 2019).
New Blackhawks assistant coach Rob Cookson held the same role with the Flames from 2001-11. During Cookson's time with Calgary, the team made the playoffs in five straight seasons between 2004-09, including making it to the Stanley Cup Final in 2004.

DEFENSIVE SWITCH

Following Sunday's win in Vancouver, Riley Stillman was place on injured reserve with a left knee injury suffered in the game. Wyatt Kalynuk was recalled from Rockford to fill the open spot among blueliners and could make his season debut on Tuesday night if he draws into action.

IN FULL BLOOM

Marc-Andre Fleury registered his first shutout of the year and 68th of his career after stopping all 40 Canucks' shots on Sunday night. He passed Roy Worters (67) for sole possession of 14th place on the NHL's all-time shutout list. In addition, Fleury became the fourth netminder in team history to post a shutout at the age of 36 or older, joining: Tony Esposito (9), Hugh Lehman (6) and Nikolai Khabibulin (2).
Dating back to the 2006-07 campaign, Fleury is 13-0-2 with .920 save percentage in 15 appearances against Vancouver. He has won his last four starts this year and in those appearances he has a .964 SV% and 1.23 GAA.

START ME UP

Brandon Hagel scored the first and only goal in Sunday evening's victory over the Canucks. It was the fourth time this season that Hagel has scored the game-opening goal, a total that matches Detroit forward Dylan Larkin for the league lead. Last season he netted just one game opener.

BLOCK GAME

The Blackhawks are third in the league with 277 blocked shots and are fourth averaging 15.27 blocks per 60 minutes this year. Connor Murphy (8th, 39 blocks) and Calvin de Haan (T-9th, 38 blocks) are in the top-10 among NHL skaters in blocks this season. Seth Jones logged a season-best five blocked shots on Sunday against the Canucks.
