GOALKEEPER - Siyanbonga Mpontshane 

The attack-minded full-back has made the Pirates right-back position his own after joining the club from Maritzburg United in July this year.However, Shandu will have a huge task at hand when he faces the in-form Ashley Du Preez, who scored a stunning goal against Kaizer Chiefs earlier this month.

RIGHT-BACK - Bandile Shandu 

The Limpopo-based full-back is one of the few Pirates players, who have been consistent this season.Mako is usually a threat to the opposing defence when he pushes forward and he will be keen to unsettle the Stellies backline.

LEFT-BACK - Paseka Mako 

The no-nonsense defender caught the eye on his return to the starting line-up against Arrows.With Happy Jele out injured and Thulani Hlatshwayo having fallen out of favour, Nyauza looks set to captain Pirates once again.

CENTRAL DEFENDER - Ntsikelelo Nyaza 

The dreadlocked centre back has brought calmness and defensive solidity to the Pirates defence.A tall defender with aerial presence and good tackling ability, Ndah has the tools to stop Stellenbosch's dangerous centre forward Judas Moseamedi.

CENTRAL DEFENDER - Olisa Ndah

The experienced midfield maestro was surprisingly benched against Arrows and he made a substitute appearance.However, Monare is most likely to return to the team with Abel Mabaso unavailable due to suspension.

CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Thabang Monare

The absence of the injured Goodman Mosele has seen Makaringe enjoy regular game time in recent weeks.Makaringe will be hoping to impress the Bucs technical team and re-cement his place in the starting line-up.

CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Fortune Makaringe 

The former Jomo Cosmos star saw his three-match scoring run in the PSL come to an end against Arrows.Mntambo has been Pirates' most in-form attacker in their recent months and they will pin their hopes of defeating Stellies on him.

ATTACKING MIDFIELDER - Linda Mntambo 

The Namibia international has under performed this season, but he remains a regular for the Buccaneers.Hotto scored with a wonderful free-kick against Stellenbosch at Orlando Stadium in August this year and he will be confident of scoring again.

LEFT FORWARD - Deon Hotto

The man nicknamed Shuffle scored the winning goal the last time Pirates won a game which was against Sekhukhune United on November 2.Shuffle has the ability to inspire the Soweto giants to a victory over Stellies which would end the Western Cape side's unbeaten record.

RIGHT FORWARD - Kabelo Dlamini 

The 19-year-old marksman was handed his PSL debut against Arrows with Pirates missing strikers Tshegofatso Mabasa, Zakhele Lepasa and Frank Mhango.Radiopane, who has been scoring goals in the DStv Diski Challenge with ease this term, and could be handed his first start against Stellenbosch with Bucs in desperate need of goals.
