Leslie Jordan, Morgan Freeman visit local Champy's Famous Fried Chicken locations

EAST RIDGE, Tenn. — UPDATE:

The general manager at Champy's Famous Fried Chicken on Lee Highway in Chattanooga told us that they got a visit from the famous Leslie Jordan today.

"That's two famous people at our stores two days in a row!" the manager says.

Famous actor Morgan Freeman visited Champy's Famous Fried Chicken in East Ridge on Monday, according to a Facebook post.

"Our FAVORITE fellow Mississippian came by to see us today and enjoyed some of his favorite fried chicken! It is truly a pleasure to serve Mr. @morganfreeman!!! Thank you for stopping by today!," reads a Champy's Famous Fried Chicken Facebook post.

Freeman is pictured sitting at a table and enjoying fried chicken with a group of people.
