While Namco is set to offer us a collection of 14 Pac-Man games next year, Taito is going for more variety with its Taito Milestones collection.

As NintendoLife reports, the Milestones collection was originally announced for Switch back in June, but at the time it looked as though only Japan was set to get it. However, publisher Inin Games has confirmed today that it will be publishing the collection in the west.

Taito Milestones will include the following titles:

  • Quix (1981)

  • Alpine Ski (1982)

  • Front Line (1982)

  • Wild Western (1982)

  • Chack'n Pop (1983)

  • Elevator Action (1983)

  • The Fairyland Story (1986)

  • Halley's Comet (1986)

  • The Ninja Warriors (1987)

One further title has yet to be revealed for the collection.

Taito says it chose games that represented "a specific breakthrough in development and gaming history, spanning a variety of genres." Indeed, the collection has something for everyone including the platform, sports, shooting, and puzzle genres.

The collection is being released in Japan in February next year, but Inin Games says pre-orders for a Limited or Collector's Edition in the west will go live on Nov. 25 through its Strictly Limited Games Partner Store. After that, a standard boxed and digital copy will be made available in the near future, although a specific release date has not yet been confirmed.
