Isaiah Stewart has become an overnight sensation this week. The brawl that sparked between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Detroit Pistons was primarily led by his charge toward LeBron James after getting hit in the face that caused a gash over of his eye.

Stewart was incensed and tried confronting LeBron James, going through numerous players, officials, referees, and security personnel in order to get to James. No actual physical altercation took place between the two, and the situation was eventually resolved.

James and Stewart were both handed out suspensions, with Stewart being ruled out for 2 games going forward. On top of that, James actually tried reaching out to Stewart in order to apologize to him and explain to him that he didn't hit him intentionally.

But one former NBA player has actually offered a silver lining for Stewart and the Pistons. Reggie Miller took to Twitter and said that with the way he approached the situation with LeBron, Stewart has put himself in the category of players that should not be messed with, which is good news for Detroit Pistons fans.

Isaiah Stewart catapulted himself into the Charles Oakley, Buck Williams, Dale n Antonio Davis conversation of dudes you NEVER want to mess with. However long Isaiah plays in this league, dudes will walk on eggshells around him. That’s GREAT news for Piston fans..

Miller will be very familiar with situations similar to the one Stewart was in. Miller was part of the Indiana Pacers team that experienced the 'Malice At The Palace' incident. So while he doesn't condone the actions, he does believe that this will make players think twice before trying to enrage Stewart.

At this point in time, Stewart's profile has grown into that of a no-nonsense physical player. His altercation with James was not his only one this year, as he also had an altercation with Blake Griffin just a couple of weeks ago, and Blake actually poked fun at him after the LeBron incident. So now, Stewart has a reputation as a physical player.
