The Cleveland Browns' backfield is starting to look normal again. Ahead of a massive Week 12 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, head coach Kevin Stefanski revealed that Kareem Hunt is expected to be activated off the IR and should play. Via The Akron Beacon Journal:

Coach Kevin Stefanski said All-Pro right tackle Jack Conklin and 2017 NFL rushing champion Kareem Hunt should be able to come off injured reserve and practice this week, a major boost with the Browns visiting the AFC North-leading Baltimore Ravens on “Sunday Night Football.”

Asked if the two will be able to play in Baltimore, Stefanski said, “Yeah, I’m hopeful. They’re both progressing well.”

Nick Chubb just returned from injury in Week 11 as well, rushing for 130 yards on 22 carries in a 13-10 win for the Browns against the winless Detroit Lions. Although Chubb has been the first stringer this season, Hunt is getting no shortage of touches. The running back is rushing for an average of 5.2 yards per carry and has five touchdowns already.

Hunt injured his calf in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals and was just one of several absences the Browns were dealing with recently. Cleveland needs all the help they can get right now as they sit at 6-5, which puts them last in the AFC North. A victory over the division leaders in Baltimore would be huge and hopefully, Hunt can play a part in doing so.
