It's been baffling to a lot of people why acting legend Keanu Reeves has yet to be cast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe considering his stature, previous experience in comic book-related projects, and the clamor from longtime comic book fans. You may not be aware of this but the folks over at Marvel Studios have also been quite adamant about convincing the star of The Matrix franchise to join the franchise but his packed schedule has prevented him from ever stepping foot into the Marvel realm.

Well, Reeves himself seems to tease that the time for him to enter Earth-616 is now. The beloved Hollywood A-lister recently offered an encouraging update regarding his potential MCU casting and unsurprisingly, fans were elated after he finally expressed his desire to join the billion-dollar franchise after all these years.

On Twitter, fans once again rallied behind the John Wick actor and most of them believe that he'll make a pretty good live-action version of Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider, a role that was previously brought to life by Nicolas Cage. To some, it makes all the sense in the world especially given the fact that he owns a motorcylce company. What do you think? Check out some of the reactions below:

The real question is, will Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios oblige? We'll see about that.

Meanwhile, Keanu Reeves stars in The Matrix Resurrections, hitting cinemas on December 22, 2021.
