Bears open as 3.5-point road favorites vs. Lions in Week 12

The Chicago Bears will face the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, where they’ll be looking to snap a five-game losing streak as Matt Nagy’s hot seat burns. And while they’re facing a winless Lions team, no win is guaranteed.

The Bears have opened as 3.5-point road favorites against the Lions, according to Tipico Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 41.5 points.

It might sound surprising that Chicago is favored in a game considering their disappointing season. But while the Bears have lost five straight games, the Lions have yet to win a game this season.

Chicago has been favorites just twice this season in Week 2 against the Bengals and Week 4 against the Lions, which were both wins. They’ve been underdogs in eight games against the Rams, Browns, Raiders, Packers, Bucs, 49ers, Steelers and Ravens.

Can the Bears avoid a disaster with a win over the winless Lions? Or will Detroit send Chicago to another six-game losing streak and ignite Nagy’s hot seat? We’ll see when the Bears and Lions kick things off Sunday at 11:30 a.m. CST on FOX.
