Movin’ and groovin’, as Walt Clyde Frazier might say.

Former New York Knicks first round pick and NBA champion Iman Shumpert was “wheeling and dealing” his way to the Mirror Ball trophy on Monday night, when he captured the Dancing With The Stars crown along with his partner Daniella Karagach in the show’s 30th season finale.

Watch Shumpert and his partner perform the Cha Cha / Foxtrot Fusion to “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire:

The 31-year-old Shumpert, husband to singer Teyana Taylor, spent his first four NBA seasons with the Knicks, and parts of the last two with the Brooklyn Nets. Shumpert has not played in the NBA this season.

Watch Tyra Banks announce Shumpert and Karagach as the winners of the 10-week competition:

The former Cleveland Cavaliers guard, who captured the 2016 Larry O’Brien trophy alongside teammate LeBron James, isn’t the first athlete to nab the Mirror Ball -- NFL stars Emmitt Smith and Hines Ward have previously done so -- but he is the first NBA player to accomplish the feat.
