Salvation Army of Greater Rochester hoping to raise $400K by Christmas Eve

The Salvation Army does good work all year long in the Rochester community.

While the Salvation Army of Greater Rochester always relies on donations, that's no more true than right now. The organizations says it has seen a 50 percent increase in need since March 2020.
More than 1,500 families in Monroe County are expected to come through the organization for help during the Christmas season. Its goal is to raise $400,000 by Dec. 24. Last year, it raised $250,000.
