Firstsportz estimates Timo Werner’s current net worth to be at £4.5 million. He is also No.11 in the Premier League’s highest-paid players this season with an annual salary of £14,144,000, according to Spotrac.

Timo Werner started his career with TSV Steinhaldenfeld before moving to VfB Stuttgard’s youth academy in 2002. When he was 16 years old, Werner was called up to Stuttgart’s U-19 squad and he proceeded to score 24 goals that season. Due to his performance, he was awarded the Gold U-17 Fritz Walter Medal.

He eventually made his senior debut in Stuttgart’s UEFA Europa League match during the qualifying phase. Werner became the youngest player to debut for Stuttgart at the age of 17 years, 4 months, and 25 days.

Werner also became the club’s youngest player to play in the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal and was the youngest goalscorer for Stuttgart when scored during their match against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Unfortunately, Stuttgart was relegated in May 2016 which made him join the newly-promoted RB Leipzig. In 103 appearances for VfB Stuttgart in all competitions, Werner netted 14 goals and provided 11 assists.

On June 11, 2016, Timo Werner made the move to join RB Leipzig for a €10 million transfer fee, a club record at that time.

On September 26, 2016, Werner became the youngest player at the time to play 100 Bundesliga matches at the age of 20 years and 203 days.

He then helped RB Leipzig qualify for the UEFA Champions League, the first time in club history after they finished 2nd in the Bundesliga table. Werner was one of the top scorers that season as he finished with 21 goals.

In 2019, Werner became the first player in RB Leipzig history to score 50 Bundesliga goals. A few months after, he netted his first Bundesliga hat-trick during their game against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Timo Werner played his final match with RB Leipzig against Augsburg as he scored a brace to secure a 2-1 away win.

In his four years with Leipzig, Werner appeared in 159 matches in all competitions and he finished as the club’s leading goalscorer with 95 goals made all while dishing out 40 assists.

On June 18, 2020, Premier League club Chelsea activated his £47.5 million release clause to secure Timo Werner’s services. He then signed a five-year £70,720,000 contract.

Werner has been relatively inconsistent so far for the Blues as he has struggled to score goals and get regular playing time.

Despite that, Timo Werner helped Chelsea win the 2020-2021 UEFA Champions League, as well as the subsequent UEFA Super Cup the following year.

As for the international level, Timo Werner has been representing Germany since the U15, U16, U17, U19, and U21 squads where he appeared in 48 matches and scored 38 goals. He was then called up to the senior squad in 2017 as he was named to Germany’s squad for the 2017 FIFA Federations Cup.

He helped Germany win the tournament with his 3 goals and 2 assists and he was awarded 2017 FIFA Federations Cup Golden Boot. Werner also featured for Germany in the 2018 World Cup and UEFA Euro 2020.

Aside from his salary, Werner’s rise to stardom contributed to a lot of brands approaching him for endorsement deals. The most notable one is his partnership with Adidas where he showcases some of the newest pairs from the major sports brand.

He also has an official partnership with EA Sports with their annually-released video game called FIFA22.
