Former Chelsea captain John Terry has been speaking this week on Bein Sports, and as expected there has been some great quotes going around.

Terry is currently out of work after leaving Aston Villa as their assistant head coach, and he has been taking some time off to relax, learn, setup a Twitter account, and do a few public interviews, including his latest one yesterday.

The Blues legend was quizzed on his thoughts on Chelsea so far this season and what their strengths might be.

Chelsea are currently sat on top of the Premier League table and are on fire under Thomas Tuchel.

Terry has been impressed with what he’s seen and believes that Chelsea have ‘by far’ the best squad depth in the league and that is what is making them stand out right now, as reported below.

He was highlighting the fact that we have still been looking good even without our two main strikers Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.

“The strength in depth in the squad looks to me by far the best in the league. I think they’ve coped really well without him [Romelu Lukaku]. Having him back will be a big boost.”
