Despite recent odd noise suggesting that Mason Mount is unhappy at Chelsea, fresh reports this morning claim he is about to sign a new long term contract at the club.
The Daily Star ran the really weird report over the weekend suggesting that Mount had grown frustrated at Chelsea.

I have no idea why anyone would even think that, Mount is clearly over the moon playing regularly for his boyhood club and is clearly rated and trusted highly by Thomas Tuchel.
Which probably makes this next story slightly more believable but totally at the other end of the spectrum.
Football Insider report that Mount is actually set to sign a new long term contract at Chelsea after a breakthrough in talks.
This would certainly matchup more that the first story, seeing as we have already heard that Chelsea and Mount were trying to sort a new and improved contract.
