Researching angels can help spur them to visit you in the spirit world

DEAR BONNIE: Do you ever see angels? I know you talk about them a lot, but do you actually see them like spirits? I would like to see them so if you could give me some tips on how to make them come to me. I would appreciate it. — Ruby

DEAR RUBY: Ever since I was a little girl, I had a fascination with God and the angels. I remember always feeling protected and would stare at the picture my mom had in the house of an angel with the children around her. As I got older, I would buy statues of the angels and would put them in every room in my house and outside in the garden. I started reading countless books on angels and all the diverse kinds of angels and their strengths, but it wasn’t until I started making my connection to the other side so strong that I opened myself up to actually seeing angels.

One night I was reading a book about angels in bed, and I fell asleep with the book next to me. During the night I became conscious of Archangel Michael sitting next to me — so close I could see him staring right back at me. I remembered to ask, “who are you?” He responded, “I am Archangel Michael.” On the other side of me was a much bigger-framed angel, and when I looked at him, he said, “I am Archangel Rachael — you are a healer like me.” Since that night I have had several visits from Archangel Raphael, especially when I am giving a reiki session or need a healing for myself.

Archangel Michael is with me daily, and I hear him speak very easily and clearly. Doing this work of mediumship and healing, I often need his help with his sword of love and light. I see him almost nightly coming down and taking his sword and scooping the energy left on me by others. When I first started to talk to Michael, I did not let him stop having a conversation with me for two days. I asked him all sorts of questions: Why can I hear you so well? Why me? All kinds of things until I finally asked, “Are you tired of talking to me?” He kindly answered, “no” and said he would be here whenever I need him or to talk. He has for sure kept his word. When I give angel card readings or need advice for someone he always answers.

I also have heard and seen many other angels, along with fairies, which are the elementals. They are the keepers of the flowers and nature, so if you like to work in your garden call to them and ask for a sign. They are smaller and faster than other angels but very pretty and joyful. One night I awoke to a fairy coming toward me, and as she did, she came right up close and threw fairy dust at me! Yup, you can’t make this stuff up. I told her that was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for me.

Angels love it when you honor them by having statues or pictures of them. It makes them feel wanted. So, if you want an angel to visit you, start by learning as much about them as you can and invite them into your life. They like to be asked, so remember to do so — it’s like giving them permission to be with you. They can step in and save you if it’s a life and death situation without you asking. I am sure you have heard of the stories of people surviving death and not knowing how — it was likely the angels stepping in because it was not that person’s time.

Angels are God’s messengers and have never walked on earth, so if you have a request, state it as simply as possible so they can respond. The most important message I received came one night from two angels, twin brothers Sandalphon and Metatron. These two angels that came to visit me during a meditation told me, “God wants you for something big.” I said, “OK”, but forgot to ask what. That’s OK, I am sure I’ll find out.

There is a story of Elijah and Enoch, two twin brothers that did not die, and God took them to heaven to be by his side, and they became Sandalphon and Metatron. Metatron is the name Enoch received after his transformation into an angel. Sandalphon is referred to the prophet Elijah, transfigured and elevated to angelic status. I knew nothing about them until the day they visited with me and then did my research. Often when things happen in the spiritual world, I will do research so that I might understand the full story behind them.
