WASHINGTON — Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma is enjoying a strong start with the team. He's averaging a career-best 9.2 rebounds per game and has been a big part to the Wizards' hot start to the season.
Kuzma had 11 points and 13 rebounds in Monday's loss to the Charlotte Hornets, but it was his adventurous off-court decision that had the internet talking before tip-off.
Kuzma, who is 26 years old and listed as 6 feet 10 inches tall, strolled into pregame warmups sporting an enormous pink sweater with sleeves down to his knees. It didn't take long for the good people of Twitter to weigh in on his choice.
No matter how you feel about it, Kuz's bold style can't be denied. And who doesn't enjoy a cozy sweater?
On the court Tuesday, the Wizards trailed by as many as 17 in the second half. The team rallied to cut the deficit to 105-103, but a last second 3-pointer by the Hornets' Terry Rozier lifted them to a 109-103 victory.
