Hellbound Exceeds Squid Game As Most Popular Netflix Series

Hellbound is proving its claim to be the next Netflix series to watch out for as it outshines Squid Game on the platform’s global top 10.

As soon as Hellbound premiered on November 19, it immediately gained the No.1 spot in the global Netflix rankings.

According to Flix Patrol, Hellbound ranked first place in Netflix’s series section with an overall score of 780 points on the November 22 record. Hellbound—The Next Netflix Series To Watch Out For

Hellbound has been creating an uproar as soon as it premiered on November 19. The Yoo Ah In-starred series came in No.1 in 20 regions such as its native country South Korea, the Bahamas, Mexico, Bahrain, Belgium, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kuwait, and Malaysia. At the same time, it ranked within the top 3 in the US, Canada, and Germany.

Right on the spot, Hellbound became the most popular Kdrama series, which made Squid Game fall to second place after topping the Netflix top 10 charts for many days. Hellbound dominated the global streaming platform just a day after its release, which is an impressive feat, especially since it was already gaining attention even before its premiere.

Hellbound is a Netflix Kdrama directed by Yeon Sang Ho, who also helmed the 2016 blockbuster zombie film Train to Busan and Peninsula. The series stars Chicago Typewriter and Alive actor Yoo Ah In.

As soon as the news of the Kdrama being in production, it immediately received high praises as the second Squid Game that will dominate the world of series and television programs.
