A 15-year-old Port Neches-Groves football player is out of Texas Children's Hospital and spending his first night at home in more than a month.
Noah Jackson suffered a traumatic brain injury during a junior varsity football game in October.
Dozens of friends, family and supporters came together Monday night for Noah's return outside of Port Neches-Groves High School, holding up signs and welcoming Noah back home.
The parade started at the corner of Merriman and ended on the football field where he was injured last month.
Noah's mom and family, and the community, are happy he's back just in time for the holidays.
We caught up with Noah and his mother and asked them about the happy ending .
"It's been a long 30 days," said Kim Borne. "He's a walking miracle,"
"My community came together and the support makes me so happy," said Noah.
When we asked him what's next, Noah said he's ready to heal fully and get back on the field.
