With the playoffs picture beginning to take shape, the Week 12 marquee matchup between the New England Patriots and the Tenessee Titans could have major implications moving forward. The Titans are coming off a shock loss to the Houston Texans from Week 11, but at this point, Pats head coach Bill Belichick doesn't believe that Tenessee is in the midst of a slump.

Belichick had nothing but praise for the Titans as the Patriots prepare for what should be a mouthwatering matchup between these two Super Bowl hopefuls:

“They turned the ball over against the Texans, so that’s hard to count on,” Belichick responded when asked if he though the Titans would carry over their poor form against his Pats, via Josh Alper of NBC Sports. “That’s not what they do. I don’t think we’ll get that. They’re a tough, physical team. The backs run hard. They have a very experienced line. . . . They’re tough. They’re physical. They make you beat them. They don’t make many mistakes. They know what they’re doing. They’re sound. They’re a good, fundamental team. They tackle well. The backs and receivers run hard with the ball. The quarterback is athletic. Sound in the kicking game. We’re going to have to play a good football game in all three phases.”

The Titans saw their league-best six-game win streak snapped by the Texans on Sunday. The Patriots, on the other hand, are coming off a dominant 25-0 win over the Atlanta Falcons. New England has now won their last five contests and will be looking to make it six out of six against Tennessee next Sunday.
