The Blue Jackets' offense was clicking Monday night as Columbus defeated the Buffalo Sabres 7-4.
The Sabres took an early lead with Tage Thompson scored just before the 4-minute mark in the first period.
Buffalo's lead lasted less than four minutes before Jack Roslovic scored his first goal of the season. Later in the first, Roslovic would double his total and give Columbus a 2-2 lead.
As the first period came to an end, Zemgus Girgensons scored a power-play goal for Buffalo to once again tie the game.
The Blue Jackets started the second period with a flurry of goals. Oliver Bjorkstrand, Max Domi, and Vladislav Gavrikov all scored in the first 3:41 of the second to give the Blue Jackets a 5-2 lead.
Buffalo answered with a pair of goals in the next six minutes to cut the lead to 5-4.
In the third, Gavrikov and Sean Kuraly scored in the final minute to give the Blue Jackets a 7-4 victory.
Joonas Korpisalo made 29 saves in Columbus' third victory in its last four games.
Columbus will return home to take on the Winnipeg Jets Wednesday.
