Jazz Center Rudy Gobert Spins For Finesse Layup Against Grizzlies

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz center Rudy Gobert made a smooth offensive move during the opening quarter of Utah’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Jazz hosted the Grizzlies at Vivint Arena on Monday, November 22.
With 53.3 seconds left in the first quarter, Gobert spun past Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. before banking a layup off the glass and into the hoop.
Gobert’s shot extended Utah’s lead to 30-25.

At the end of the first quarter, the Jazz owned a 30-27 advantage.
Gobert and the Jazz continued to play well during the second quarter and took a 60-54 lead into the halftime break.

During the first 24 minutes of action, Gobert had 12 points on 5-5 field goals. He added seven rebounds and two blocks. Gobert posted a plus-eight rating during his first 15 minutes on the hardwood.

This season, Gobert is averaging 15.3 points, 15.1 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 1.8 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game.
