Bob Arum finds himself in a very tricky spot following Terence Crawford's big win over Shawn Porter. He wants to re-sign his client but he also needs to prove what he can do.

Terence Crawford made it no secret he was done with Top Rank after this win over Shawn Porter. While there are many factors that played in the decision, a big one was the inability to book big fights.

“I'm pretty sure my decision is made already,” he told reporters. “Bob [Arum] couldn't secure me the Spence fight when I was with him, so how is he going to secure me the Spence fight when I'm not with him? I'm moving forward with my career now.”

Terence Crawford wanted a fight booked fight Errol Spence. Bob Arum was unable to get it done in the past but it appears that's changing.

Bob Arum spoke to Yahoo! Sports reporter Kevin Iole and explained what the game plan was going forward. He isn't going to offer a contract and try to negotiate, he's going to prove himself by offering fights instead.
