The Las Vegas Raiders have lost three straight games following their defeat against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The team has slipped to 5-5 after their hot start and is now in third place in the AFC West. For fans looking for someone to blame for the team's struggles, Derek Carr has your answer.

Per Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Carr told the media after the loss that he is the reason to blame for the Raiders' struggles, taking responsibility for the team's performance on third down and in the red zone.

Carr simply hasn't done enough to finish drives for the Raiders over the past few weeks, though of course, not all the blame should rest on his shoulders, regardless of what he says.

The Raiders haven't scored more than 16 points in any of their last three games, a span during which Carr has four interceptions and two lost fumbles. Their inability to convert on third down, as well as in the red zone has kept points off the board for them, and Carr knows that fixing that starts with his ability to better protect the football.

The Raiders risk falling below .500 for the first time this season with a loss on Thanksgiving on the road against the Dallas Cowboys, and Carr knows he'll need to correct his mistakes if the Raiders want to keep up with the high-scoring Cowboys' offense.

This season, Carr has 16 touchdown passes and nine interceptions. He's thrown for 3,041 yards and has completed 67.9% of his pass attempts.
