Bills snap counts: Depth chart breakdown vs. Colts

Here’s how the Buffalo Bills’ depth chart broke down via snap counts in their 41-15 Week 11 loss against the Indianapolis Colts:

Offense snap counts

  • QB Josh Allen was not part of the 100 percent group as Mitchell Trubisky replaced him late. The rest of the starting O-line was mostly there.
  • TE Dawson Knox played a season-high 98 percent of snaps.
  • The top-three WR rotation went as usual: Emmanuel Sanders and Stefon Diggs at the top with Cole Beasley at No. 3.
  • After playing in 52 percent of snaps vs. the Jets, WR Gabriel Davis dropped to 34 percent.
  • RB Matt Breida played in a season-high 32 percent of snaps. That was higher than Zack Moss (29%) but lower than Devin Singletary (38%).
  • Buffalo’s offense was outsnapped by the defense, 56 to 69 total snaps.

Defense snap counts

  • Only CB Levi Wallace played near 100 percent of snaps as defenders were pulled from the game late.
  • Against the strong rushing attack of the Colts, the Bills played a lot of nickel defense. CB Taron Johnson  played 99 percent of snaps in the slot.
  • DT Harrison Phillips led his position in snaps played for the first time this season (78%). Star Lotulelei was out due to COVID. It was a season-high for Phillips.
  • DT Ed Oliver played in a season-low 46 percent of snaps.
  • DE Jerry Hughes (30%) and DE Mario Addison (26%) also played in a season-low snap total.

Special teams snaps
