And just like that, the Jacksonville Jaguars have already played ten games this season. While they have lost eight games, they’ve won two, doubling their 2020 totals. Sure, they’ve had lows, their 30-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11 is probably the worst but they’ve shown signs of growth and need to use the remainder of the year to keep improving.

Trevor Lawrence has been getting better, even if the numbers don’t point in that direction. Cornerback Tyson Campbell is also becoming an important contributor on defense. On the other hand, the Jags just placed wide receiver/return specialist Jamal Agnew on the Injured Reserve list, it will be interesting to see if they can overcome his absence on both offense and special teams.

In Week 12, they will welcome the Atlanta Falcons at TIAA Bank Field. It will be their second consecutive home game before they travel to West Coast to take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13. Here are the odds and a final score prediction for the game.

Jaguars vs Falcons Week 12 final score prediction.

While the Jags have struggled in consecutive weeks, the Falcons are coming off a devastating loss in which they were shut down by the New England Patriots. Moreover, losing Jamal Agnew will hurt the offense and the special teams. Tavon Austin subbed in for him and went on to muff a punt. On the other hand, Atlanta still has Matt Ryan, who is among the best quarterbacks in the NFL. The “Mattural” isn’t probably top 10 but he’s not far off and as long as he’s in the lineup, the Falcons will have a shot.

If the Jaguars’ defense can play the way it did in Weeks 9 and 10 and force a couple of turnovers, they could get their third win at home. Also, the offense needs to do its part and score a few points, so they aren’t 17-0 by the second quarter.

The Jags are sitting on a two-game losing streak but this writer thinks the offense will do just enough to help the defense win the game.

Final score: Jaguars 21 – Falcons 17
