Pete Davidson's 'SNL' Co-Stars Turning On Him Over Kim Kardashian Romance
Pete Davidson is walking around with a little more swagger after being linked with Kim Kardashian, who is arguably one of the most famous women in the world.
However, his new confidence has turned into arrogance according to insiders at Saturday Night Live.
“This isn’t the first time Pete has done this. When he was engaged to Ariana Grande he thought he was a superstar. Now that he is hanging out with Kim he is even worse,” sources tell Radar.
“All the cast members love attention and want to be stars, but at the end of the day, the most important currency inside SNL is comedy. It has always been that the most talented, the funniest cast members are the most respected. That is not to say that Pete isn’t gifted, but even Pete would acknowledge that his fame outweighs his gifts.”
Recently the show’s most senior cast member, Kenan Thompson spoke out about Pete’s new dating life saying, “I mean, you’ve got to be happy for love, I guess. If it’s love! They look like they’re having a good time.”
While fellow cast member Bowen Yang added, “I don’t know what the nature of the friendship is, but it seems like they’re having a good time hanging out,” he said.
However, behind the scenes what is being said isn’t so nice.

“Pete is believing his own hype. With all the press and photographers chasing him, Pete is starting to believe his own hype. Inside SNL it is fiercely competitive. Each week cast members are set up against other cast members. It is like the Hunger Games inside 30 Rock. The best sketch makes the show,” adds an insider.
“The fear is Pete is going to get more air-time because of Kim. That is not fair, and the cast is turning on him.”
It may not matter what Pete's co-stars think of him given his close relationship with Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels.
Lorne is also the one who was seen having lunch with Kim and Kris Jenner weeks before she was locked in to host this season.
