Adults can enjoy a special BYOB virtual beer tasting with Great Lakes Brewing Company and Mentor Public Library at 6:30 p.m., Dec. 9.

Michael Williams, Great Lakes Brewing’s education coordinator, will guide tasters through four of the brewery’s specialty beers: Dortmunder Gold Lager, Crushworthy Lo-Cal Citrus Wheat, TropiCoastal Tropical IPA and its Christmas Ale, according to a news release.

The virtual tasting is free to attend and will be hosted via Zoom, and registration is required to get the link. Sign up at www.mentorpl.org or by calling the library at 440-255-8811, ext. 247.

Those who wish to sip along will need to buy their own beer. Participants must be at least 21 years of age to consume any alcoholic beverage as part of this educational program, the release stated.
