Scott Frost spoke about the Iowa matchup at his press conference on Monday.

Nebraska is coming off another game where it lost by single digits once again. The Cornhuskers lost 35-28 in a crushing defeat to Wisconsin, who has now won 7 in-a-row.

Now the Cornhuskers are moving on to the No. 17 Hawkeyes who have a 6-game winning streak against them.

Frost stated he believes the way to beat a team like Iowa is to limit the mistakes per Hail Varsity’s Steve Marik.

This is easier said than done for the Cornhuskers this season, who are coming into the game with a -4 turnover differential. They have lost 16 turnovers and created 12 in the 2021 season.

However, Frost may not be too far off. In the games that Iowa has lost this season, the Hawkeyes have shot themselves in the foot. In the Week 8 loss to Purdue and Week 9 loss to Wisconsin, the Hawkeyes had 7 turnovers and created 1 turnover.

We’ll see if this holds up as No. 17 Iowa (9-2) and Nebraska (3-8) meet Saturday in Memorial Stadium at 1:30 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
