When Celtic let Ryan Christie leave in the summer and did not sign a replacement, many felt that the club could find themselves in trouble. The Scottish midfielder had been a huge part of this team for years and had also played some tremendous football ever since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou as manager in the summer. But one man who has filled in for him quite well is Tom Rogic.

Postecoglou’s arrival appears to have breathed new life into Rogic’s Celtic career. Not too long ago, he was expected to depart the club on a permanent basis. But now he is one of the most important members of the squad once again.

Rogic is currently out with an injury and Celtic have certainly missed his presence and will be hoping that he is back as soon as possible.

Amidst all this Postecoglou has made a big prediction about Rogic. As reported by 67 Hail Hail, the manager told Open Goal:

"“When Tommy enjoys his football, that’s when the best comes out of him.“I’ve sensed that since I’ve come here he’s really enjoying his football now. He’s only 28. He’s got plenty of years ahead of him. In fact, his best years could be ahead of him if he keeps going the way he’s going.”"

Postecoglou has made a big prediction about Rogic’s Celtic future

It is safe to say that Rogic has played some of his best football in a Celtic shirt this season. He was absolutely brilliant before he ended up suffering the injury and has been out of action for quite a few weeks since then.

Rogic is a player whose talent, potential or ability have never been in question. But he has had a long history of injuries in recent times which have kept him on the sidelines often. As a result, he had gotten lost in the shuffle in the past few years.

But now, he looks well and truly back in the mix and is expected to play a huge part for Celtic this season. One can only hope that he performs like he was earlier in the campaign when he eventually returns from his injury.
