Reigning Bellator women's featherweight champion Cris Cyborg sees a few similarities in Kayla Harrison and former UFC star Ronday Rousey.

Former undefeated PFL champion and free agent Kayla Harrison is being linked to switch to Bellator. While nothing is concrete yet at this point, some are already buzzing about a Cyborg vs. Harrison fight.

However, Cyborg remains unfazed with all the hype as she is certain the trajectory of Harrison's career at the moment is somewhat like that of former UFC champion Ronda Rousey's.

“I believe Kayla is just doing like Ronda Rousey was doing in the beginning,” Cyborg said via MMA Junkie. “I was a champion in Strikeforce, and Ronda started talking about me and all that because people didn’t know who she is at that point. So I think that she’s just following the things that Ronda did in the beginning.”

As things stand, the UFC is reportedly not willing to match Harrison's hefty price tag. Bellator, meanwhile, is interested but has not reached an agreement with the Olympian yet.

For Cyborg, whether Harrison joins the UFC or Bellator , or stick with PFL, a fight between them will “happen” happen soon.

“I don’t think that she’s gonna leave the PFL,” the Bellator champ predicted. “If she left the PFL, then she would be welcomed in Bellator and we can make the fight happen. Let’s see what’s gonna happen. It will be a great fight. Even if she stays in the PFL, we can still make this fight happen, cross-promotion.”

Both Cyborg and Harrison are coming off an impressive four-fight winning streak and are considered as two of the best fighters  of the modern era.
