San Francisco, CA – The 15-2 Golden State Warriors are firing on all cylinders to start the season. Two of the most encouraging things about this beginning is their winning without Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green has played well on both ends of the floor. After defeating the Toronto Raptors, Jordan Poole explained why he believes Green is playing so well.

“I think he gets the sense like alright, we're back, and we have a chance to really do this. Especially the guys with the experience, they know what it takes,” Poole told ClutchPoints.

The Warriors have emerged as one of the favorites to win it all to some. The raised level of play by Green has been a significant part in coming up with that conclusion. The Warriors move as he does, and he leads in many ways that don't always show on the stat sheet. Whenever he's active and engaged, the team is tough to beat.

Green is averaging 7.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game. Some might say these are typical numbers from Green, but one thing that's been huge for the Warriors is him shooting the ball at a career-high 55.6% from the field. Green has never shot over 50% in a season. His consistency is keeping teams a little more honest, and it's helping free up his teammates for good looks.

If Green can continue or improve on his production this season, the Warriors will be a threat against anybody. Draymond Green could be the reason Golden State go from the hunters to the hunted.
