These are not built to be long haul OTR trucks. The Tesla is designed for regional work, port to warehouse, warehouse to retail. All of the major retailers like Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowe's etc all have distribution hubs across the country that in most cases are less than 500 miles away, more often less then that. Doing away with most of the maintenance cost, cheaper fuel rate...sounds very appealing.

Anyone asking what all these EV's are going to do to the roads? The new F150 lightning weighs almost 7000lbs! How much more does one of these Semi's weigh?
