(WTVC) -- A Chattanooga man is being charged with solicitation to murder.
As of 9:00 a.m. Sunday, Life Force's website showed Jerry McDonald was the EMS Special Operations Manager.
His information has since been removed from their website.
We reached out to Erlanger, which owns Life Force, for comment. We are still waiting to hear back.
An affidavit of complaint shows segments of a text message exchange between McDonald and an unidentified individual.
The texts reveal McDonald's plan to kill an unnamed woman and reap the financial benefits from her death.
According to the affidavit, McDonald texted: "Please kill her babe, please. I'm begging you."
The affidavit goes on to say McDonald wrote: "This b**** is worth a million. Let's kill her and I collect a million and we live like the kings and queens we are"
It goes on to say McDonald text: "There's over a million in her dad's safe. I'm saying I won't get caught."
The affidavit says Chattanooga Police responded to reports of an off duty officer being out with someone who believed their life was in danger.
It says once officers made contact, the victim told police they found the messages on McDonald's phone.
It says someone got a hold of McDonald's phone because he was passed out drunk and that person wanted to contact McDonald's boss to let them know he might not be at work that afternoon.
That's when the affidavit says the party involved found the text messages.
McDonald was booked in the Hamilton County jail.
He's being held on a $75,000 bond.
