YOU'RE SEEING THE NUMBER ON THE SCALE AND EVERYTHING IS GREAT AND YOU HAVE ENERGY. ALL OF A SUDDEN, YOU'RE DOING THE SAME EXACT THINGS ANDHE T SCALE WON'T BUDGE. >> I KNOW. WE ALL HAVE BEEN THERE. THINK AUTBO PLATEAUS IS I THINK WE HAVE TO BE REALISTIC ABOUT ROU WEIGHT LOSS. NO WHAT WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM YOU'RE IN AND WHAT YOU'RE EXPECTED TO GET OUT OF IT AND REALIZE THE HEAHLT BENEFITS OF LOSING EVEN A SMALL AMOUNT OF WEIGHT IS A LOT. IF YOU LOSE FIVE OR TEN PERCENT, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A MARKED IMPROVEMENT IN YOUR HEALTH. WHAT CAN YOU DO? LOOK AT -- GOTO T HAVE A GOOD REALITY CHECK. YOU KNOW, LOOK AT YOUR DIET. A LOT OF PEOPLE PUTTING A LOT OF ALCOHOL IN THEIR FOOD LATELY. LOOK AT THE CALORIES GOING ON N. IST I GOOD CALORIES, BAD CALORIES? IF THE CALORIES ARE GDOO AND YOU'RE KEEPING IT DOWN CONSISTENTLY, CHANGE IT. MAYBE TRY HIGH PROTEIN, LOW CALORIE, MAYBE KETO. REGULAR EXERCISE IS A GOOD THING, RATHER THAN HAVE A BURST OF FIVE DAYS IN A GYM AND THEN DON'T DO IT FOR THE NEXT MONTH. I THINK THAT CHANGE IS IMPORTANT AND THE LASTUT B NOT THE LEAST, IT'S IMPORTANT TO GET GOOD NIGHS T'SLEEP. YOU NEED TO HAVE ADEQUATE REST. JENNIFER: YOUR BODY CAN GET USED TO WHAT YOU'VE BEEN DOING SO MAYBE CHANGING IT UP A LITTLE BIT CAN JUMP START YOUR METABOLISM AGAIN. >> DEFINITELY. IF YOU ARE AT A NEW BALANCE, THEN YOU'LL HAVEO T CHANGE SOMETHING TO GET A JUMP START. JENNIFER: WHICH CAN BE FRUSTRATING FOR PEOPLE WHO FEEL LIKE THEY'VE BEEN IN SUCH A GREAT ROUTINE. WOULD YOU SUGGEST THAT PEOPLE NOT BE TOO HARD ON THEMSELVES? YOU SAID BE REALISTIC. THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACHIEVABLE WEIGHT AND MAINTAINABLE WEIGHT. >> THAT IS CORRECT. I WOULD SAYET G OFF THE SOCIAL MEDIA FIRST. EVYER TIME YOU LOOK AT SOMEBODY BRAGGING ABOUT THEIR WEIGHT, YOU TRY TO PUT DOWN YOURSELF AND YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS. IT'S A GOOD IADE NOT TO JUST JUMP EVERY DAY ON A SCALE AND SAY I HAVEN'T LOST A POUND TODAY OR I LOST A POUND TODAY. WEIGH YOURSELF MAYBE ONCE A WEEK AND DON'T GO CRAZY ABOUT IT.
