WWE Champion Big E vs. Universal Champion Roman Reigns was booked at this year’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
It had a slow start then they traded strikes and Reigns hit a clothesline. They brawled to the apron and Big E missed a splash. Big E tried to mount a comeback, but Reigns caught him with a big boot. Reigns with a series of clotheslines in the corner. Big E with a powerslam for 2. Reigns went for the superman punch, but Big E avoided it and Reigns hit the rock bottom for 2. Reigns with a superman punch and then another.
Big E fired up and went for the Big Ending, but it was blocked. Big E with a spear through the ropes. Back in the ring, Reigns hit a spear for a near fall. Reigns locked in the guillotine choke, but Big E powered out and hit the Big Ending for a near fall. Reigns tossed him into the ring post. Back in the ring, Reigns hit a spear for the win.
