Bishop (lower body) was placed on waivers Sunday by the Senators, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Bishop suffered an injury in training camp and this move would indicate that he's healthy. Assuming he clears waivers, the 25-year-old will head to AHL Belleville.
