FHP: Man dies after motorcycle crashes into vehicle on Beach Boulevard at Thalia Road

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 36-year-old Jacksonville man is dead after his motorcycle crashed into a vehicle on Beach Boulevard and Thalia Road around 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The man was traveling eastbound on Beach Boulevard and was approaching Thalia Road where a sedan was stopped at a stop sign.

The sedan made a left turn onto Beach Boulevard and the front of the man’s motorcycle struck the sedan’s left side, resulting in a fatal crash.

The 57-year-old Jacksonville man driving the sedan was uninjured.

All eastbound lanes of Beach Boulevard at Thalia Road were blocked due to the crash since 5:53 p.m. on Sunday.
