Compass’ Polsinelli Markets Historic Upper West Side Offices

Compass vice chairman Adelaide Polsinelli and commercial principal Meylin Maldonado have been hired to sell 236 W. 72nd St. on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The property has served as the New York headquarters and mission house of The Metropolitan New York Baptist Association for the past 48 years.

Originally built in 1927 as the New York Edison showroom and offices, the property consists of approximately 16,000 square feet, with an additional 12,000 square feet of air rights. The building will be delivered vacant.

“Here’s a chance to own an exclusive piece of New York,” said Maldonado. “They’ve done an exceptional job preserving some of the original historic details of the building. You can even experience them still today.”

Polsinelli added, “This exceptional opportunity presents an ideal situation for multi-tenanted use as well as any combination of retail, medical, educational and office uses.”
