It'll be hard for the Buffalo Bills to have a more embarrassing loss than their Week 9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they sure tried to surpass it today. The Indianapolis Colts beat Buffalo 41-15 behind a five-touchdown outing from Jonathan Taylor. The Bills didn't have the lead at any point in this game, which is the first time that has happened all season.

Josh Allen, who threw for 209 yards and tossed two touchdowns and two interceptions, said that the Bills certainly needed to do better. But he also said that they aren't going to panic just yet.

Buffalo may not be pressing the panic button yet but they may have glanced at it after today's defeat. They lost their place atop the AFC East to the New England Patriots after their second humiliating loss in three weeks. The Bills' 6-4 record would still make them one of the top Wild Card teams but having more poor performances will hurt their playoff push.

Despite the bad losses, Allen is right in that the Bills don't need to actually panic just yet. They allowed the lowest points-per-game total in the league and scored the second-most points per game entering today. The Bills are still a talented and healthy team. But they'll need to stop losing in such embarrassing ways in order to break through to the Super Bowl.

The Bills and Patriots will face off during Week 13 in Buffalo and Week 16 in New England. Those matchups got a lot more interesting after the Bills' loss today.
