Marcus Stroman is a major free agency target for the LA Angels, and we'd seemingly all collectively love to have him join our team soon.

Stroman has been a very good and consistent starting pitcher in this league these past couple of years. He opted out of the 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic, but in 2019 and 2021 he's looked very good.

In that time, he's made 65 starts, posting a 3.12 ERA and a 135 ERA+. Many teams are interested in him this offseason, including the St. Louis Cardinals. Their fans want Stro, and Stro has taken notice:

Two hours later, Stroman had similar things to say about Angels fans. He's noticing our interest in him, and it's beautiful to see:

LA Angels fans need to keep working hard to recruit Marcus Stroman.

This isn't the first time Marcus Stroman has been thinking about the LA Angels:

It absolutely could be a great fit. Especially now since his teammate for the last three years, Noah Syndergaard, was just signed to be an LA Angel. The last time those two played together, the Mets had their best season of the last five years.

Stroman already has plenty of experience playing in a major market like LA of course, as he was obviously just in New York. Also, he'll be living in the LA or Orange County area, which is a pleasure in itself. He'd love it here, and Perry Minasian is making it clear that he wants to win.

We have a lot of money to offer him, as we have an incredibly wealthy owner in Arte Moreno who has no choice but to spend on pitching this offseason.

He's a guy who's pitched in the American League before, and would be going to an Angels team that has the chance to make a run next year now that their big-money players in Mike Trout, Anthony Rendon, and Justin Upton will be coming back from injury.

Stroman's never shied away from the big stage that the Angels are hoping to be playing on. When he's pitched in the playoffs, he's allowed just a .690 OPS and 2.09 walks per nine innings. His Blue Jays teams were 3-2 when he started on the bump in October.

Stroman's got what it takes to be a big game pitcher, and if he signs with the Angels, he'll be pitching in many big games.
