An armed killer who shot a man to death outside an Upper Manhattan nightclub showed off the murder weapon to a woman a few minutes before firing the fatal shots, prosecutors said.

Malik Brown, 26, had his gun in his waistband and was showing it off outside the Made in Mexico nightclub in Inwood just before he allegedly shot Stephen Turner, a young dad beloved in his Harlem neighborhood, according to court papers.

Surveillance video captured Brown’s boastful gesture as well as the moment he outstretched his arm and appeared to fire at a white Dodge Charger parked at 10th Ave. and W. 211th St., according to the criminal complaint.

Turner, 27, dropped to the ground from a gunshot to his chest, while a second victim was shot through his finger, the complaint says. Moments later, Brown ran off, gun in hand, prosecutors say.

The day after the shooting cops released surveillance images of the suspect and asked the public’s help identifying him and tracking him down.

The victim’s family and friends believe he was acting as a peacemaker, trying to cool down a fight when he was shot.

After the shooting, Turner’s friends and neighbors remembered him as a kind, conscientious father of three who volunteered his time with the Dyckman Basketball program and the Children’s Aid Society.

“It’s a sad day in Harlem,” said Emanuel Williams, 51, who knew Turner from his block on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd. “He was amazing. I knew him all his life, since he was born. …You always see him with his son, he was a great father. They spent a lot of time [together]. Everything. Park, riding bikes, playing basketball. He was a good dad.”

Police arrested Brown on Friday and he was arraigned on murder, attempted murder and other charges Saturday in Manhattan Criminal Court. He was ordered held without bail.
