The Omaha Police Department (OPD) is investigating a shooting that took place at a DJ's Dugout that killed one man and injured another, according to a press release from OPD.

Police came to DJ's Dugout, 777 N 114th St., around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, due to reports of a shooting.

At about 11:40 p.m., a man walked into Methodist Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.

That man, Demetrius Johnson, 20, later died from his injuries.

At about 11:50 p.m., a man walked into the Nebraska Medical Center with injuries to his right foot.

The second man was identified as 20-year-old Christopher Grutel, said the press release.

There is currently no information on a suspect, but the investigation is still ongoing, said the press release.
