Gëzym Myshketa, Gëzym Myshketa, Raffaele Pe Headline Grange Festival’s 2022 Season

The Grange Festival has announced its 2022 edition.

The season will kick off with Verdi’s “Macbeth” in a production by Maxine Braham. Conductor Francesco Cilluffo leads a cast starring Gëzym Myshketa and Judith Howarth as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, respectively. Other cast members include Jonathan Lemalu, Samuel Sakker, and Andrés Presno.

Performance Dates:  June 9-July 5, 2022

Händel’s “Tamerlano” will star Raffaele Pe, Paul Nilon, Gëzym Myshketa, Patrick Terry, Angharad Lyddon, and Stuarte Orme. Daniel Slater directs while Robert Howarth conducts.

Performance Dates: June 10- July 3, 2022

Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Yeoman of the Guard” will star John Savournin, Nick Pritchard, Graeme Broadbent, David Webb, Heather Shipp, and Ellie Laugharne, among others. John Andrews conducts the cast, which will be directed by Christopher Luscombe.

Performance Dates: June 26 – July 8, 2022

Tenor Ed Lyon leads the world premiere of “Clorinda Agonistes,” which features music by Monteverdi and Roustom.

Performance Dates: July 13 and 14, 2022
