I think it has a lot to do with his knees. he is having a hard time walking ic you watch the few scenes he is actually walking. it's very seldom he is seen up and about

The reason we see him sitting down, is because he has bad Arthritis. thats why he has a stunt double when getting in and out of the car. its not because he doesnt want to stand up

It is good to see how close Frank is with his team. He also calls them out when needed. You have to have trust with your team. Someone who has your back, but doesn't mind to disagree. I think Blue Blood is right on target. Love the show💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
