Hollyoaks is always full of drama, and for character Nate Denby (Chris Charles), it is no different.
Nate plays an undercover police officer who is part of Operation Bluebird, but he has his own mission: to find out what happened to his girlfriend Lisa Loveday, who disappeared last year. Nate is unaware that she was actually murdered by Toby Faroe and his sister Celeste helped to cover up the crime.
Speaking to Inside Soap, Charles said that Nate's "plan is to gather as much evidence as he can. He's looking for clues, anything that could be helpful in discovering where Lisa is."

While his investigation is ongoing, we are all wondering if and when Nate will find out the truth, and what he will do when he does – will he go after Toby and get revenge?
Charles has revealed: "As passionate as Nate is, he's a man of integrity. We've seen that he keeps himself in good shape, and he can handle himself, so he'll certainly defend himself, so he'll certainly defend himself and those around him if he needs to."
"But violence is the last possible option for him. He'll pursue the truth to the ends of the earth and he's very determined – but he'll keep it in the parameters of the law. Having said that, Nate and the Deveraux family are definitely on a collision course."

He added that we would begin to see Nate's developing theories play out very soon, as he begins to wonder if "it's possibly more than just Lisa going missing."
In episodes this week, Nate will "start pointing fingers towards certain members of the Deveraux family," but will he be right in his accusations? Fans will simply have to wait and see.
