NMMNHS Hosts Events For Cartoon Lovers Of All Ages

The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science (NMMNHS) is hosting the special The Art of Warner Bros. Cartoons events 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27 and Saturday, Dec. 18.

The exhibition includes opportunities to see the actual cartoons in the galleries and at special times on the Verus Research DynaTheater five-story screen at 10 a.m., followed by a Science Story Time and fun activities with participants from around the state, including New Mexico Tech, St. John’s College, New Mexico Game & Fish, ABQ BioPark and the Sandia Mountain Natural History Center.

Explore how native New Mexican wildlife compares to the cartoon characters in Looney Tunes, as well as how everyday physics compares to cartoon physics.
