Dolphins vs. Jets inactives: Alijah Vera-Tucker good to go in Week 11

The Jets won’t have to go searching for a replacement for Alijah Vera-Tucker at left guard against the Dolphins, as the rookie is active after being listed as questionable with a toe injury.

Vera-Tucker was a limited participant in practice throughout the week and his status for Week 11 was never truly in doubt despite his questionable status. Nathan Shepherd is also active after being limited in practice with a knee injury during the week. Joining New York’s active roster from the practice squad for its first matchup of the season with Miami are Nick Bawden and Ronald Blair.

Rounding out Gang Green’s inactives are Zach Wilson, La’Mical Perine, Isaiah Williams, Jonathan Marshall, Tim Ward, Rachad Wildgoose and Jarrod Wilson. Wildgoose signed with the Jets earlier this week. Denzel Mims is also out and on the COVID-19 list.

As for the Dolphins, they are mostly healthy for their trip to MetLife Stadium. Linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel (back) and defensive lineman Christian Wilkins (quad) are active after being listed as questionable. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett (knee), linebacker Jerome Baker (knee), defensive end Elijah Campbell (toe), safety Brandon Jones (ankle), offensive lineman Robert Jones (wrist) and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (finger) were removed from the injury report and did not enter Sunday with an injury designation.
