• Pink updated fans about her recent hip surgery in a new Instagram post.
  • The 42-year-old thanked her doctors for their work and her husband for his love and support while she heals.
  • Fans and celebrities (like Mandy Moore and Selma Blaire) alike sent an outpouring of love and well wishes to the singer.

Pink shared an update with her followers on Instagram post-hip surgery yesterday morning. Though it's unclear why the singer underwent hip surgery, the 42-year-old posted a fuzzy selfie in black shorts and a black tanktop looking happy and healthy and captioned the image with uplifting words about her recovery.

“This is what nine hours of sleep and cuddles from my kiddos looks like seven days post hip surgery,” the singer captioned the photo. Pink then thanked her doctor and the staff at The Steadman Clinic, an orthopedic care facility in Colorodo, before thanking her husband, professional motorcyclist Carey Hart, for not only helping connect her to “the world’s greatest doctors,” but also for his love and support during her recovery.

“It was a brutal first week full of tears and pain med depression, ulcers from meds, and constant fevers, but my @hartluck brought me through. (No one recovers from surgery like he does, he’s not real,)” the “Just Give Me a Reason” singer wrote in the caption.

Hart has had quite a few surgeries of his own due to his dangerous profession, and Pink was openly grateful for how much he helped her recovery process after she’d done the same for him many times over.

“He brought me coffee in the shower, lugged around my 100 pound CPM contraptions everywhere I went, dried my tears, cooked me oatmeal, kept track of my meds, got me my phone charger, plugged in my compression machines, took my temp, made the bed, and talked me off the ledge,” she added in the caption.

The three-time Grammy winner admitted that even though the beginning was very difficult, and she has had to figure out how to live her life with crutches for six weeks, she seems to have a positive outlook on the situation.

“Life always reminds you that most setbacks are actually just pauses and opportunities to recalibrate and count your blessings,” she wrote in the caption.

The singer shared that, due to her surgery, she was able to connect with truly inspiring people who have changed her outlook on her situation. Pink referenced an “incredible” woman with cerebral palsy who “summits 13,000 feet in her chair,” and even has a documentary called From My Window on Vimeo. Pink also learned about a blind man that was able to summit Mount Everest against all odds.

“It is humbling for a very independent person like myself to be rendered physically unable and dependent, even if for a couple of months,” she shared in the caption. “I’m learning the gift of accepting help. My journey will be quick and intentional, and I will make a full recovery. For that, I am so blessed.”

She then took the opportunity to shout out those who aren’t as fortunate as her, and congratulate them on their perseverance. “I’m impressed by those that face real, hard challenges and alchemize their situation into something magical or meaningful,” she wrote in the caption. “In the meantime, shout out to all of those on the journey to wellness, and to those making magic out of the impossible.”

Through the outpouring of love, support, and well-wishes from fans and followers, celebrity, actress, and friend Mandy Moore shared her encouragement by commenting, “Sending you all the healing vibes and love!” Actress and friend Selma Blaire also shared her support with a comment that reads: “Major recovery love to you!”

Though we don't know why Pink underwent the surgery, we wish her a speedy recovery!
